By booking a session or engaging our services, you agree to these terms, which are designed to ensure a beautiful, professional experience for everyone involved.
Initial Consultation: All projects begin with a consultation to understand your vision and ensure we're the perfect fit for your story.
Booking Confirmation: Your session is confirmed upon receipt of signed contract and required deposit. Dates are held for 48 hours pending contract completion.
Deposit Requirements:
Portrait Sessions: 50% deposit required
Weddings & Events: $300-500 deposit required
Commercial Projects: 30% deposit required
Accepted Payments: Credit cards, bank transfers, and digital payments through our secure platform.
Payment Schedule:
Deposit due at booking
Remaining balance due 7 days before session date
Late payments may result in session rescheduling
Custom Packages: Available for unique projects with pricing determined during consultation.
Client Cancellations:
30+ days notice: Full refund
14-29 days notice: 50% refund of total payment
Less than 14 days: Deposit non-refundable, remaining balance refunded
Weather-related cancellations: Full rescheduling at no charge
Photographer Cancellations: Full refund available, or priority rebooking with deposit transferred to new session date.
Rescheduling: One complimentary reschedule within 3 months of original date.
Delivery Timeline:
Portrait Sessions: 3-7 business days
Weddings: 4-6 weeks for full gallery
Commercial Projects: As specified in contract
Digital Delivery: High-resolution images delivered via secure online gallery with download capabilities.
Print Release: Included with all packages for personal use. Commercial licensing available separately.
Photographer Rights: Dawn Minotti Pictures retains copyright to all images and videos. Client receives unlimited personal usage rights.
Marketing Usage: We reserve the right to use images for portfolio, website, social media, and marketing purposes unless otherwise specified in writing.
Client Usage: Personal use includes social media sharing, printing for personal display, and sharing with family/friends.
Mutual Respect: We're committed to creating a comfortable, inclusive environment for all clients regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or background.
Communication: We respond to inquiries within 24 hours during business days.
Weather Contingency: Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled due to severe weather for safety and optimal results.
Equipment Backup: We use professional backup equipment and multiple memory cards for redundancy.
Image Loss: While extremely rare, in the unlikely event of total image loss due to circumstances beyond our control, liability is limited to a full refund of fees paid.
Force Majeure: Not responsible for delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, illness, venue restrictions, etc.).
Travel Fees: Apply for locations outside the DFW metro area. We'll discuss any travel costs during your consultation based on distance.
Special Requests: We love accommodating unique ideas when possible with advance notice. Some requests may have additional costs, which we'll discuss upfront.
Contract Changes: Any changes to our agreement must be discussed and agreed upon in writing by both parties.
